The works Titel Verworfen and Wurfsendung play with the fact that implied content often requires more imagination than a formulated shape. Associated with the experience that artworks in public spaces are often very misplaced, these works try to solve the issue with a simple gesture: throwing.
The work Wurfsendung was delivered to the exhibition with the instruction that the box can only be opened if it is thrown from a height of over 10 meters onto roundabout.
When the box was smashed open, it revealed pieces of chalk and flintstone from the island Rügen in the German Baltic sea. The pieces where taken from chalk rocks which are a natural monument to German Romanticism.
